I have been working on my video editing and production skills for the past three years since minoring in communication. I originally wanted to add some visuals to my audio work. However, I fell in love with all forms of video and wanted to enhance my skills and learn to produce and edit all forms/genres of video. This is the progress that I am at so far!
Perfume/Clothing Commercial (Advertising Edit)
I wanted to expand my portfolio and try editing for something one would find on TV during commercial breaks. Therefore, I found and edited up footage to make it seem like so.
On the Shore of This Bay(Documentary Edit)
I took a course on LinkedIn about video editing on Premiere Pro to become more fluent on the software. This is the end product of what I learned to do on Premiere.
Manhattan College News Roundup (TV News Broadcast)
I was the Studio Director for this broadcast and helped with the packages inside this news segment by recoding the audio and video for it and then editing it in post production. I also helped in different roles after this broadcast like the audio operator, technical director, camera operator, etc. Going through this solidified my confidence in a TV studio and prepared me for a potential career in the film and media industry.
Puppy-Quad 2023 (Compilation/Summary Edit)
This was for an event at my college called Puppy-Quad. They bring dogs from a nearby shelter and allow students to play with them while raising money for good causes.
Captain Rickenbacker
(Skit/Comedic Compilation Edit)
As bizarre as it will sound, I created this edit as a final for an editing class. The class was given 3 hours to create an edit with clips provided that were about WWI fighter pilots. The professor said it could be any kind of edit. Therefore, I created a little comedic compilation that highlighted this American fighter pilot. Professor returned it back saying it was strange and funny and gave me an A for the final and class. Needless to say, it worked as intended.

This was for a class where the goal was to create an interesting edit that highlighted the serious tone and tension that there was between the actors in the scene.
